girlfriend wants to be elementary teacher - how do i help her switch?
my girlfriend always dreamed of being an elementary school teacher. she loves teaching and helping young kids. however, imo elementary teachers dont make much money. we will have a difficult life because her dreams wont pay the bills. ive given up my dreams to persue software engineering to help us get more money, how do i persuade her to do the same?
Public school teachers get paid well - not as high as Tech but still 100k plus in the Bay area. This is public info please Google. She can start as a teacher then if she doesn't want to continue she can become a Project/Program Manager. IMHO she will have transferable skills.
