mehh, lot of ex FAANG engineer including myself. won't recommend it personally, you can make money but the work and long term thinking is missing.

work quality mostly and better scope and future growth potential. coupang is pretty short sighted so not sure if it can be long term play.
It's not amazing here but wlb is good. If you want to slow down but still make good money it's a chill place. But don't expect the stock or company trajectory to drastically move any time soon.
Stay at coupang with 750k. At pins your offer is likely the most you’ll ever make. Refreshers will be peanuts and your TC will only go down from here since the stock isn’t going anywhere. Pinterest hasn’t changed in the past 10 years and growth has slowed. Basically we’re a one trick pony.
the specific team looks interesting though, i am not optimizing just for the money. Although i would like it to stay 600+ . YOE is irrelevant. You can have 20 YOE and be doing the same thing every year and never improving and stuck at L5 or just happy being L5. You can also get to L6 in just 3-4 years if you’re smart, show leadership and work smart.

Unless you are getting sacked at current job you should never take this offer. You regret taking this offer. You comp will never go up

I guess for me its not just about the comp. If it doesn’t increase, I’m confident i can get another job, few years down the line. I’m not getting sacked though, the problem is work quality is poor here and staying here longterm doesn’t feel productive to my career. They throw money with poor culture and not that exposure as a Faang. The problem scope is also limited, you end up doing low quality work with good amount of ops, as a 10+ year experienced engineer it doesn’t feel worth my time.
