graphic designer with clearance
any idea what the average salary for a mid and senior level graphic designer in the DC area with a TS clearance?
Security clearance definitely pays higher than a regular employee. I would say 120 to 160 seems fairly possible with clearance level job. If not even higher.

Yes def higher in dc than maryland. Even VA you should expect higher salary.
You can get 120-140 base easy with TS in DC. You can get 140 base without TS with 6 YOE at mid-senior tier. It depends on who you work with and what you do. Graphic Designer with 14+ YOE can get over $200k TC with clearance. I made $170K TC when I turned 30 without clearance with YOE 6. Don't work for cheap companies. They'll go away. Go out and get what you're worth.
