Last semester of university to finish my master's in CS (undergrad CS). Meta, Amazon, IBM internships. 440 leetcode. The job search is terribly dry. I need help, I've only had one final interview recently and chances are slim. Times are tough, simply unfortunate. Any referrals will be appreciated. I just want a decent job so I can gain experience. Looking for anything really but most of my experience from internships are full-stack. Here is my search so far: Active: 1. Akuna (hackerrank) 2. That's very rough to see, seems like you're doing everything right
Wish you the best of luck OP! I heard there’s some openings for web3 positions at web3.career, not sure if that floats your boat
I applied to 500-800 companies when I was graduating. You barely searched. Out of them for 50-70 companies I applied to 100+ roles in each. I did this in good economic conditions.
don’t be picky, plenty smaller companies will hire. Point is to gain experience and build up a repertoire, Take advantage of possibly being the only person with a masters too. You have good chance. Try looking at local school districts(Local schools really need software engineers for a re-vamp). A great addition is to build a solid portfolio. Do some free lance work and get active on GitHub. Give potential employers some hard proof that you got what it takes.
@OP if there’s a will, there’s a way. think of your job search like a challenge. One thing that’s very important to note. At smaller companies its usually a small team, great opportunity to learn since you’ll be exposed to quite a bit.
I appreciate the thoughtful comments. It’s exactly this, I gotta keep doing to build experience and rep
