high impact aws vs. socmed company

Sorry for the somewhat repeat question -- I'm aware people post similar questions all the time. That being said, hopefully my question is specific enough to somewhat merit a new post.

I'm transitioning from startup world and have offers from a few companies, one of them being AWS. From research on here, I didn't expect Amazon to match my offer as an SDE1, but I guess I interviewed well and suddenly it became a tough choice, with Amazon basically matching my other offer.

I still consider it a very slight paycut because of perks in comparison to the "other company", a major social media company, about 5% maybe. Though it's hard to say how impactful my team / work will be. I would be adjacent to data scientists and doing full-stack eng at SocMed company, but other than that, I'm not sure what sort of growth/impact I can look towards.

AWS on the other hand is offering a position on what I would consider to be a very cutting edge and disruptive project, with big names in my tech domain involved, with my role seemingly quite crucial relative to my current career stage. Additionally, Amazon has offices throughout the world that I'd be interested in transferring to, and seems like a much more "stable" company overall.

Is it possible / likely that this AWS role's pros outweigh the usual cons of Amazon when weighed against this other role?

Does your opinion on this change if we compare against G instead of SocMed company?

Amazon known for a bad work culture. Most of the teams know for asking their resources to work more than 9 hrs a day. Its cutting edge but if u are looking for long term quality work life than choose the other one.

AWS is a tough place to survive, but can be immensely helpful to your career. I think you should go for AWS over SocMed but be prepared for pain. In a year or two you can leave and be much better off long term.

If you compare to G? Go to G, no doubt. Just as high (probably higher) prestige and great for your career but with much less pain.

Go to the social media company weather it's Twitter, Facebook, or LinkedIn.

If the role is related to reviving Google+ I would still go there than AWS because of the benefits that come with on top of pay.
