BR and HM need to be a Yes
You don't need all your Yeezys, just one for each foot
However all interviewer need to be green light or extra interviews can be organized
What’s BR?
It’s called bar raiser and it’s based on how many 🍌 you can suck if you join the company.
Bar Raiser
You don’t need all yeses but the reason why someone is not inclined to hire you will be heard and if that point is being reflected elsewhere, then the loop can swing.
I killed it with the HM & BR. The rest, not so much ... haha , I’m really curious if I’m going to get an offer or not.
OP, did you get an offer? I also feel like I did quite well with the BR and HM (especially with the HM), one round of coding was alright, the other one not the best
How do you know who is the BR?
Being a BRIT (bar raiser in training) and having 3 close friends who are BRs, it's actually never a voting system. They make it look like voting, but it's simply the decision of the BR. The meeting is always driven by the BR. If the BR wants you, he'll drive the discussion to highlight your strengths and lowlight the weaknesses. I've been in several debriefs where the BR had an opposite vote than the rest of the room and he simply talked everyone out to change their decision, willingly. I hated it because I've done 200+ interviews and know the bar pretty well, and I felt the interviewers were being fooled by the illusion of voting.
Wow!!!!
Dono I sit next to 2 BRs and they are much nicer. Of course, they would hold the standard but not like fully overturn the decision - normally HMs are not stupid
BR has the power. Period.
I am confused. If it’s a technical role BR won’t know much about how the candidate will perform until he hears everyone’s feedback so wondering 🤔
No.
Then what’s the min/max ? Any idea.
