hi All, I received a good offer from Unify Consulting as a Senior Consultant but no client assignments have come through, its been 1 month. i have never worked in a small company before so i am conscious and want to know if Unify consulting is a good place to work in general and how they are doing during this post covid economy. i know there were significant roll offs from Gap, Uber and Airbnb- are these employees able to secure new client assignment yet? PS: i am new to this app, please help me get the right traction#consulting #offer .
OP, did you end up joining Unify? I've been talking to them recently and hoping people can share their direct experienced with them.
Probably too late but I just joined and it seems like the salary is competitive. I made the move because it was a huge jump for me. I didn't start getting paid until I was assigned to a client, but I only waited a week. I think your experience will depend on who your client is.
I just have one question as I entertain my Unify Offer - have they had to layoff in 2022 at all?
What was ur offer ? My spouse hs an offer from unify consulting in sf bot sure how to evaluate it
Hey Fkhz54, May I ask if you ended up joining Unify Consulting? if yes, can I kindly ask how long after the contingent offer they assign you to a project. Please help me with sharing your experience, I am worried they end up canceling their offer while I am stopping interviews with other companies.

Hi - how have things evolved at Unify for you? I’m also considering joining them. (Ps - I think the whole world was on hold and have personally seen budgets open up and projects getting started again. I had at least 3 companies tell me since April one thing or another to the effect that they decided to go a different way with other solutions and people for projects.... and have recently found out that all 3 were hit hard, one had to make layoffs of up to 10% of their workforce, etc and today, they are calling and ready to get started again.) I appreciate any candid perspective on Unify vs Slalom if you have one. Slalom is also making a strong offer. But I love the people at Unify. Slalom’s people are cool too. They both seem like great choices but I’m leaning towards Unify.
This is probably too late. Slalom is better, hands down. Reason 1: Unify won't pay you when you're on the bench. You must get an assignment first. Reason 2: Slalom actually does consulting. Unify does some consulting. Most of their revenue comes from staff augmentation. PS: Slalom has offices throughout the US and expanding to the UK. Unify is present only in Seattle.
Difference between consulting and staff augmentation: In consulting, you sell a solution and then you implement it. In staff augmentation, you sell bodies.
