how’s MS in Software Engineering in CMU-SV

I am admitted this year to MS-SE in CMU silicon valley campus, ans also some CS programs at other universities. I am more towrads the MS-SE Program. Can anyone point out some insights regarding this program? I graduated a year ago, and worked a little bit, so I can’t say that I have had much working experience before joining the program. The goal of attending grad school for me is to find a software engineering job in industry, but at the meantime I also want to improve technical skills of course (I guess that is why I did not land a good job previously....) Is this program recommended? and bear my written english.... 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ thank you all

Do lots of Leetcode while you’re getting your MS. Know data structures/algorithms well. When you’re done, you’ll have a high paying job waiting for you. Don’t focus on the school name too much. Goal is to get the interview. At interview your school name doesn’t matter. It’s all Leetcode and fundamentals.

Yea I am reviewing the stuff I learned at college, and honestly I really forgot lots of them... I think no matter which program I go to, I will have to spend extra time to learn. Thanks.

SM is suitable for seniors. In your case SE is a better fit.

It’s a great program for someone looking to land in a technical role, especially in Silicon Valley.
