hows the Bing office in Bellevue?
Where exactly is the Bing office in downtown Bellevue? When I drive by, I see multiple MSFT signage. There’s a one on a tall sky scraper, there’s one on Lincoln center or whatever it is (the mall that connects to Bellevue square), etc. Does the office itself have any amenities that are nice to have? Cafeteria? Gym? Company store, Game room, anything fun? Also, as a new MSFT entrant, do we get any useless/useful welcome kit? I,e. Facebook people get socks…..for “taking the first step”. Lol

It’s an average 3.5/5, with good and bad days for +- 1 on that. >Gym They pay for your gym membership, but none in building. >Company store There’s an online portal for most of it, but the physical location’s in the Bellevue visiting center. >Game room Most floors have pingpong, foosball, or a pinball table. With the exception of ping-pong I’ve never seen them get much use >Fun The bellevue campus has family events like movie nights and barbeques and company sports teams, if you’re into that. >Kit They used to give a bunch of garbage swag on day one orientation, stuff like pencils or whatever. Not worth your time tbh
Got it! On the swag, I wished they gave surface headphones…but that’s wishful thinking I suppose…..
they move people around after every reorg from building to building in Bellevue so not sure which one they are in right now. the new hire stuff depends on the team. my team doesn't give anything. there is a cafeteria in almost all MS buildings. some buildings also have ping pong tables and even pool table.
