hulu app on roku
what a mess.. find it extremely confusing to use and getting to see all episodes of a show I was watching takes half a dozen clicks.. wtf!
Roku in general has poor ui ux. Try apple tv

Hulu app is horrible on Apple TV too. It was fine before they did the big redesign but now the weird fancy background fading in animations just make the experience really slow and janky.
+1 ! So hard to figure out which programs on each network I can watch Live or wait for them to complete their DVR recording. And they only just recently fixed the DVR space issue. Disappointing when they merged Hulu and Live TV together.
The updated ux is years behind the previous version.
Isn’t the Hulu experience the same on all platforms? It’s just a piss poor design. Nothing to do with Roku
lol. I mean, not that there’s no room for improvement, but compared to Amazon’s worst-in-class streaming app? C’mon. Y’all make HBOGO look like it was made by a cutting edge tech company. As far as Hulu’s update goes, don’t you think they would have rolled it back if they didn’t get better engagement than they did from the old app? :)
The new ux was tied to the release of love tv 📺. If they wanted to roll it back, they would need to back port streaming tv support. Flipping back is likely not a trivial task.
And yet they continue to do the *opposite* of rolling it back - releasing it to more and more devices as fast as they can. If there was a net negative instead of positive affect, I guarantee they would not do that.
