I like iOS development and picked up a course about half a year ago and made pretty good progress. I wanted to know about the career aspect of it. I'm currently comfortable working in backend/distributed systems and have no issues in continuing it. Is iOS development in demand? Or have new frameworks like React Native, Flutter, etc taken over? I wanted to know what people think will be a good career move. To be clear, I'm not interested in making iOS / working on the kernel / OS (basically working at Apple). This is more about building apps. TC: 225k #tech #software #engineer #ios
Ios is very much in demand still, but I think generalist engineers will have more openings overall.
