iPhone holder for Mercedes CLA 250

Anyone recommends a good iPhone holder for Mercedes CLA 250. I want to put it around the air vent (or any other place in middle) and not on the windshield. The ones available which I know don't fit in it air vent as they are circular instead of straight blades.

Does your car have a CD player? There are some good mounts that fit in the cd slot.

Yes it has. Have you used such type of holders? I saw them online but never see in anyone's car.

I've used them for years. They work great

Yes I use one in my 911. Works really well, way better than the air vent ones.

Use the CD slot. You can find one on Amazon. It's a perfect spot

Try proclipusa.com. They have mounts for specific vehicles and then you put a phone holder on top of that. Searching for your car I found this: http://www.proclipusa.com/dashboard-mounts/vehicle/mercedes-benz/cla-class/2016.cmsv (I guessed at the year) and they have one for the vent you mention. You can get a magnet holder to go on top of that or one that's more of a slide in type. I have the slide in type and my husband has the magnet one. Both work very well and are excellent quality. If you get a different car you only need to buy a new car mount and the other part stays the same.

Using the CD slot to hold an iPhone is such a perfect illustration of how tech evolves. Also kind of an awesome image for an automotive OS team to use when making their pitch!

Whatever you get, get a magnetic holder. You attached (adhesive) a small thin metal plate to the back of your phone (or case) that snaps to the mount's magnet. Life changing...

The downside is I have to have a case to put that metal stick in

No, you can attach it to the back of the phone as I do. Pretty slim, doesn't interfere at all.
