A fool and his money
That's a nice house. It doesn't have a pool but other than that it looks like the house I bought in Florida for $500k last year.
I live very close to this address although different zip code so know the area well. Small lot, nice big house, not updated at all, if buyer is paying so much, he will mostly remodel all of kitchen and bathrooms - so add few more 100 k’s. High rated schools of course - the value or desire for which is in the eyes of the buyer only - for my wife and me - Schools outside of core Cupertino district offer better mix of learning and education. No way to know - but this looks like a case of intense bidding war where winner just had to bid this high - most likely driven by sellers agent.
$3.4 million for only 2600 ft^2???!!!!! I may be in Seattle but I swear even for Bay Area that’s ridiculous. In Seattle you could even get a mansion for $3.4 million not a cookie cutter suburban home
But then it's Shiattle
Also known as Greater CHAZ metropolitan area.
crazy. same house in most of Merica is 500k. but its the jobs. WFH won't last forever, despite what you may be reading. The real jobs are in a few areas. Bay area is built for business. I digress, that price is disgusting for that bland subdivision house.
WTF! Thank you GOD and feeling priveleged to stay in LCOL city and having a house bigger than this and TC of 350k
I bought it that house. It was a typo, I only wanted to go $80k over asking but I mistakenly added another zero.
What’s the point of “same house in abc is 25k” => we all know that and so did the buyer. The buyer probably already has a bigger house in ABC for all you know!
I know right. In Somalia you probably only pay 200k for it.
Was it priced too low for cupertino? Listing price doesn't matter as such if comps are high.
I could retire off the price of that one home where I live. AND buy that house here.
Shhhh don’t let Bay Area folks know
Uh, they already know. That's why those who can move, are moving. Usually the boomer, Gen X retirees. Your tech TCs are funding their retirement.
