How to showcase the skillset developed by doing leetcode and other similar websites. As currently its represented as “ data structures and algorithms “ in the skills section of my resume. How to showcase the in depth knowledge of DSA via resume ? Do we include certain small projects or leetcode profile link ( I am not sure whether its a good idea to include link as they will know how much you have practiced and might not ask those questions, i am assuming this ) any suggestions ???? FYI: I dont have any production projects in my CV and I am not in a developer profile but have been leetcoding to apply in Faang but i feel my CV is empty from developer profile perspective as I have been in consultancy till now. hate my job and love programming edit: Thank you for responding but its not like I have 0 knowledge, I have done couple of proof of concepts from scratch, won couple of hackathons, and developed small mobile apps but nothing to showcase DSA knowledge. Also, no proper developer experience. ps: i love you guys thank you for trolling
Did you also include your gym routine? It’s about the same IMO. If you want to buff up your CV, do a project that makes you proud and include that instead.
I wish I can include that, that would actually make up for missing experience.. lol But I got your point ;)
No. How about putting your masturbation frequency to demonstrate your stamina strength? On a serious note, why not aim for a lower tier company that actually suits your level, and build your resume from there? Top companies with 0 prior experience? Give me a break.
Not seen anything as stupid as this in a while
Trust me when you re surrounded by such folks, it spreads. Can you suggest some projects that will help me.
Lol
I know the hiring bars have been low lately, but not this low.
If you are good at codeforces put it, it will make a difference. If you are ranked decently in topcoder/codeforces I know a lot of HM would give you interviews pretty easily.
Hey, I’ll give u a real non troll answer. Good luck getting into the door if you have no projects. To get a job u need both a good project and how to let code
I have done some PoCs from scratch and won couple of hackathons but no production level experience, what do you suggest
Generally interviewers’ expectation is that candidates should solve leetcode questions without having practiced leetcode questions.
This would be a red flag to me. We don’t actually *want* leetcoders. We want people who can solve the problems with little to no prep. Leetcoders are just exploiting the interview process.
Maybe if you are applying for job at Leetcode. If I were hiring I would rather hire someone that can do a good job on the interview without spending a lot of time on LC.
A unicorn?
And yet Apple asks leetcode questions right? The irony
