is my current visa stamp still valid

I did a h1b renew interview this week and got Administrative processing :( The VO didn’t stamped on my current h1b visa stamp and he only took my resume and ds160. So I have my passport with a h1b stamp (valid through 2020 Jan) and 797. Is my current visa stamp still valid? I sent an email to ask the U.S. Consulate General and they asked me to check the website about (see how do I read and understand my visa). I also asked my Immigration Attorney and he said if I withdraw my new application, I should be able to use it. I am confused and anyone has been in similar situation?

Check with your employer’s legal team.

I asked but I don’t feel they really know it. The lawyer said I should withdraw the application...

why do people at Blind always point immigration questions to legal team? This is an anglo-saxon case law country and there is so much grey area in the law that attorneys couldnt have a damn right/sure answer.

AP is very common these days, wait and get done with it and be free to travel anywhere for next 3 years.

Usually we hear admin processing with approval?

Yes AP most of the time is delay in visa issuance pending some check on the application

No, even if you are refused a visa, that doesn't invalidate existing visas that are still unexpired. If the consular officer wants to cancel your existing visas, they will inform you that they are cancelled and will annotate them accordingly so you don't accidentally try to use them again. Administrative processing is sort of like a temporary refusal, so it follows the same rules. Do note however that in this situation, you cannot avail yourself of automatic revalidation.
