Hi, Virtual onsite coming up for stripe, slack, ZScaler, JPMC, Wayfair & Pocket Gems. position: Staff Software Engineer Which area I should concentrate more like trees, graphs, DP, arrays etc etc? #stripe #slack #zscaler #jpmorganchase #pocketgems #interview
To get into system design round, I have to go through code pairing session which is typically 1st round in virtual onsite! I went through phone screening + coding assessment & HM rounds so far!
Op can you share your stripe interview experience ?
Stripe is yet to happen. Done with JPMC! It’s pretty standard! One managerial round followed by 2 tech round! System Design & related to JD
Did stripe interview happen?
How did it go OP?
Mind sharing your onsite with slack? Thx
It was average. As usual stuff system design & coding. LC Medium. Two coding rounds 1 DP & 1 Tree problem Everything went well. Negotiation did not work out later because initially started with Staff engineer! After 4 weeks HR got back with answer since acquisition has been completed all staff. Position are in hold only SSE are open now. They offered me SSE. I did not accept it
Wait slack asked you leetcode? I thought they don't ask LC?
How did the pocket Gems interview go?
Pocket Gems I did not make it. It was LC hard 😀
Could you share the question? Or is it blocked by an nda?

System design. For a staff level that's more important
Do you recommend any source to refer which can be useful? Now I am going through educative.io system design
Depends on the company but educative system design is kind of shallow for staff level. It can get you senior but for staff you need more details. I recommend reading blogs/books. Designing data intensive applications is a good start.
