I'm in a fortunate position where I've received offers from both Microsoft and Amazon (return offer) as a new grad, and I'm trying to decide which one to accept. Both offers are competitive, and I'm aware that each company has its own set of advantages. Microsoft's offer leans more towards a role that I'm interested in, while Amazon's offer is also tempting with a great team and project. I'm looking for insights into the work culture, growth opportunities, and overall experience at both companies to help make an informed decision. Which company do you think would be a better choice for a new grad looking to kickstart their career? Any advice or experiences you can share would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance! #Amazon #Microsoft #careeradvice
Not even a question. Collect the peanuts for 2-3 years then move on.
Microsoft doesn’t come with a… 25% chance each year of your manager pushing you out in one way or another.
If you know how your team at Amazon is, based on your experience. Knowing your managers style and your rapport will be an advantage. If all that is unknown, go to MSFT
Microsoft allll the way. Run as fast as you can from this burnout factory hellhole. I never stop thinking about work or what I need to get done even after hours. It sucks.
Microsoft will not prepare you for the next job search. Amazon will get you in a better shape if you survive a couple of years.
Amazon is NOT a good first job. There are so many things that are specific to the company that I would not want to ruin someone new to the work force.
How is this a question without including the offer TCs?
Negotiate with Microsoft using Amazon’s offer
if (hasAmazonOffer and hasAnyOtherOffer) { anyOtherOffer.accept() } else { keepLooking() }

Do people underestimate E6 role at meta?
I also had Amazon and msft as a new grad. Liked the team at msft better and negotiated the offer using Amazon’s sign in bonus
