Has anyone ever been profiled for shoplifting while shopping?
This happen in a beauty store, the security guard and employees profiled me. I had the security guard hovering, gazing at me like a job offer that has the best TC package ever. I don’t know if the employees at Ulta have ptsd of being robbed but y’all are profiling the wrong person. Ethnicity- Hispanic TC- 85 not including stock. first year in my career ^_^ Last time I go into Ulta with my Gf!

They dont profile just by race, they profile by behavior. Basically you were behaving like people from the hood, which triggers profiling/high alert mode for them

go back in and be ‘on a call’ say something like, “yeah Im scoping the place. They only got like 3 cameras in the store. Security guy isn’t paying attention most of the time, should be easy to steal everything we need with the crew…” All in ear shot of security guard. Then walk out real quick, never to return.
