Tough. It's a negligible TC difference in HCOL area. The delta is created by a bonus that can and will be taken away if necessary. The NY job is more remote if you believe their figure which is always preferable to me. It comes down to what would you prefer, though. Either way I'd get them both to play off each other to negotiate more salary.
Honestly in this economy with so many layoffs, I’d be very careful to not overplay the negotiation game - both companies could walk away and go with their next choice candidate
LA is great. Just live close to work because traffic is shit.
As a CI person in Healthcare I would suggest going Pharma versus the provider side. You would be surprised how slow health systems move. Upward mobility will be better in pharma. In health systems they'll set a glass sealing of director level if you don't have a MHA or MBA (with 5-10 yrs Healthcare operational experience).
34 days off yearly in LA is awesome, its social scene and weather are great. NYC can be fun but the weather is miserable. The remote work is mostly useful to avoid the grossness of commuting.
NYC is absolutely the best if you’re single — LA or any other west coast city just doesn’t compare for the dating scene.
