I got a call from a Slalom recruiter about a Client Partner role. Has anyone here served in that capacity or worked closely with them? Would appreciate any insights you can share. #consulting#cloudconsulting#slalom
From my understanding you mainly have 2 hats to wear:
• business development and driving review (revenue target)
• being utilised on engagements / delivery (utilisation target)
So essentially trying to open doors at new/existing clients. Collaborating with practice leaders, sales etc. to have a plan of how to increase revenue within your sector. But also then staying sticking throughout the delivery of the project.
I think one risk is that at a time when billable hours are hard to come by across the company, there can be self interest from others to use those hours for practice folks rather than a CP.

What’s level/s do CPs fall under ?
I think Sr Principal and above. Maybe Principal but no lower than that.
