I have signed up at equityzen a year ago but I never used it and looking at some of the offering it’s crazy gains that I missed. Robinhood offering a year ago was almost $12 per share. In the current offering it’s $188. Crazy amount of growth in a year. Have anyone successfully invested in pre-ipo using Equityzen? Or any other period investment platforms? Please share you experience. #ipo #equityzen #investment
That valuation is bonkers
Yeah, that’s unrealistic. But someone may pay for it. 😂 But their last year round offering was @ $12B valuation. Have you ever used equityzen?
With equity forge, min investment is 100k. What's it like with equity zen?
With equityzen min investment varies by the offering but I think they have some program where they can lower it, say $20k from multiple people to fill the offering minimum
On your Robinhood comment I saw that too but i think its misleading. Someone is trying to offload shares at $188. That doesnt mean that is a "market price" if equityzen was actually arranging an investment fund.....to buy shares
Yeah that’s the offering so I guess someone is trying to offload with this crazy valuation, which is unrealistic.
Yes, I did two investment, both returns 5x. But I regret missing doordash and instacart
Which stocks did you invested on EquityZen that returned 5x? How much $ did you put? When did you invest, and were you able to liquidate post-IPO? Did you have 6 months lock-up similar to employees? Instacart is still pre-IPO. Can’t you invest anymore there? I’m looking to invest in RH, Instacart, SpaceX etc.
Those are very expensive now. I invested 2 years ago.
The min tends to be $20k, which is what keeps me from investing. Bit too steep.
Yeah I looked at this too and seems nuts. It seems equityzen lets sellers come up with their own numbers as to how much they want to sell their stock for?
that's always how market works, you can set a limit sell order on the public market.
