dude LinkedIn may not have been accurate. For the resume, Google does a background check on every degree and work experience listed on the resume so you cannot lie.
What do you mean LinkedIn might not have been accurate? You think they randomly put PhDs on people's profile pages for giggles? Also I have a phD and Google gave me an offer, they never called to check. Hopefully they start checking now!
