Married?
I would try to stay at G and make things work. Take on a role that allows to work from home 2-3 days a week
You’ll be considered a god at first. But soon you’ll probably get frustrated and quit, or get pushed out by someone who is threatened by you.
Things people do for getting laid. Let her finish her PhD, and meet her every weekend
Don't make such huge career sacrifices unless she marries you. Lots will change during her PhD. She might want to go thr post doc/ academia route, she might get a position elsewhere in Europe or Asia or worse still you guys might grow incompatible. If you are making such a big change in your life, please get married and depending on your age, be on the same page when it comes to starting a family.
I'm female and had one such relationship with a PhD student on the east coast, me in Bay area. I know him for 5 years and just broke up. We both realize that he's talented and it's important for him to try for faculty positions in his field. For me, that would mean most likely moving to some no name college town (we aren't talking a "big" city with an Intel office). So we eventually split. We wouldn't have known this in the middle of his PhD.

Davis isn’t crazy far away from the Bay Area. And after she finishes her PhD, she can move down to the Silicon Valley.
