Global Entry -> Nexus?

Had GE approved last year. When I go to the TTP DHS website, it does not let me apply to the Nexus program. Has anyone faced this issue and/or has anyone successfully 'upgraded' their GE to Nexus, since Nexus is more of a superset of the GE privileges?

Nexus is only for US/Canada citizens.

No. Nexus has GE.

Are you a USC or GC holder? It was pretty easy for me to convert GE to Nexus.
