no. the reason is not because they are seeking jobs but because I start seeing dumbshit post being liked/commented by them and it keeps popping up on my feed. I saw dog videos, posts with a woman’s photo that had nothing to do with the content of the post. I saw comedy videos popping up.
Accept all requests, their connections become your 2nd degree connections. Mutually beneficial you lose nothing by accepting
I never understood this take. What if they are trying to scam or social engineer your sorry ass? Many profile details that otherwise were hidden can become exposed once you accept their connection request.

If they’re from my school or we have some other connection, then yes, otherwise i ignore it. I was in their position once too and I needed help. A random LinkedIn connection helped me get a job, so I feel obligated to pay it forward.
