Has JP Morgan stopped hiring people who need fresh H1B filing? They do take H1B transfer applicants, but I've heard mix news about OPT candidates. Can anyone confirm? TC: 0
It is manager specific, but in most cases what you said is right. They’re not entertaining new sponsorships right now. I know some people who were RIFd because they needed h1b filing.
Correct. They are all stopped now. People who joined with opt before are let go now. Basically OPT needs sponsorship later, so their applications are turned down

Not good at jpmc, a girl on my team got rifd cause she needed gc processing started with limited time on her h1b. My mentee is on opt and his last chance on h1 but due to budget issues his Mgr isn't willing to do the h1b lottery for him this year

I work in AI research and yes, they filed for H1B.

JP Morgan is not a good place if you need new H1B or I-140. It wont surprise me.
