USPS Lost Green cards
So USPS lost my parents' green card and we filed an application for lost green card. My dad got a call and he was able to get a temporary green card valid for a year. For my mom, we never got a call and the immigration office is not responding at all. Can ayone share their experience with losing a green card and the subsequent processing?

Happened to my wife after we got married. 6 months of immigration saying don't worry it's on the way, then finally a letter that said the greencard is lost please apply again. Luckily apply again just meant fill out the forms again. No additional reviews or interviews needed.
