Depends on what hiring manager on loop wants. I'm a BRiT, I tell HMs that I don't recommend interviewing for OO design. We're not likely to get good data out of it. In practice, those interviews evaluate if the candidate has worked with a large object-orientented Java code base. Not all candidates have that experience, and not all roles at Amazon require that. If HM wants it anyway, then it's usually a simple modeling question. Like a chess game, etc.
Yea, OO for all levels. SDE1 you will do a round solely covering OO. For 2/3 the system design round includes OO
