This is possible in my department at Bloomberg, and Bloomberg pays up to $10k of tuition provided that one remains employed there for at least 2 years afterwards. Is it permitted and feasible to do this while working as a full time SWE at Google, and does Google pay the tuition?
You can do whatever you want with your free time. G will pay 2/3 up to 12k~ a year. The payment requires manager approval, so if MS makes your work suffer, then you wouldn’t get reimbursed.
How feasible is it through given the workload to be able to still make good grades?
In most parts of G, life’s pretty chill so it should be easy. The assumption is that school wasn’t too hard for you back in undergrad either
I was part of the OMS program at GA Tech for a bit, then I transferred on to campus. Lmk if you have questions.
Great! 1) Why'd you transfer on campus? 2) Did you finish the program? 3) Did you take any ML courses? 4) Did it help you achieve your career goal(s)?
Feel free to respond by DM, if preferred
why take OMSA but not financial math at NYU or Columbia?
Are u talking the parttime master at Columbia? Why tho? Is it for quant jobs?
Yes because op takes OMSA the analytics course, sounds he wanna be quant?
Woa I didn't know that. So you asked your TL and got their approval for reimbursement?
What is your educational background?
