Spotify Culture & Comp

On LinkedIn, I've seen a lot of folks joining Spotify, even with all these layoff posts. If anyone works there, how is internal culture, compensation, and career growth? Worked at Spotify for 4 years on the Creator side..: great place amazing culture not big on layoffs (they did layoff TA in November which was shocking) they are slowing hiring (from what I’ve heard) but if you see an open role I’d trust it Career growth is very dependent on the need/ team/ manager. It’s not up/out the way Meta can be and prob pays less but the culture is incredible and the compensation has been improving. If you see a specific role and post the link here I can maybe provide some insight on team/ manager … I just recently left Feel free to DM too

wlb is as good as it gets. I rarely work more than 6 hours a day, accomplish more than what’s asked of me, and consistently get positive reviews. No one will bother you after hours unless you’re on call. Almost every team works in similar timezones. Career growth really depends, but I’ve seen countless people get promotions and transition to other orgs in the company. Everyone I’ve interacted with has been cool and friendly. Comp is relative to your situation. You’re not going to retire wealthy off this money but I’m living a much more luxurious life than I deserve with my comp. Layoffs have been small so far and only in support roles. My team is still actively interviewing people to fill new roles. I highly recommend you apply!

Curious what your title and area is as well! I'm interested in a couple data/ml engineer roles there.
