Does Carta negotiate salary?
I received a PM offer from Carta, but their first and final offer is at least 25% lower than my current offer in hand. Would Carta negotiate salary? #carta #salarynegotiation

How about equity? Are they will to match up the TC by increasing the equity part? Carta is has a solid business model.

They didn’t negotiate with me even though I had competing offers for what that’s worth
Carta does not negotiate, they say first and best offer. You can DM me if you want to discuss it privately
Any company is down to negotiate especially if you’re a strong hire. Given you have a better offer, you should definitely ask for at least a match
As per the recruiter, they don't negotiate on salary. This was the compensation that I received after sharing my competing offer details.
It seems like they don't want me to accept the offer, so low balling the compensation.
