I’m interviewing at Klaviyo and was wondering what it’s like working there. The team seems great but I’ve read mixed reviews about the company online. Do you think they’ll ipo soon? What’s the morale like, especially with the current economic climate?
If it’s the offer you have with the most $ take it. It’s not bad
I think it depends on what team you are on sometimes. I hear some people talk about being overworked but it’s not a universal problem among all employees (although I’m still new). Culture is great. IPO is probably still a bit far out if you ask me, maybe another year or two away is my guess. Morale is good, still lots of hiring going on.
Thank you so much! That’s really helpful information. I probably would want to stay 2+ years so that works out
Which teams do you hear bad things about?
Early Klaviyo employee who considered bommerang recently. Klaviyo has very healthy fundamentals especially compared to competitors. It's in a relatively strong position to weather the storm IMO - low burn rate and can turn profitable very easily by decreasing market spend - lots of cash on hand
hey op, can I DM you for interview process? I have one scheduled in next couple of days.
Can confirmed. Klaviyo is doing very well in a great position to weather the storm
How do you know?
My buddy interviewed w/ a sales “manager” he said was super incompetent
What are you saying??
My buddy used to work there. He told me it’s very hectic like just Amazon. Lots of overworked employees.
This hasn’t been my experience at all (eng), I’ve honestly never had this much WLB in my whole career. Heard the salespeople are overworked though 1 year later edit: help I am severely fucking overworked
