When your boss has no idea what you do, cant fight for you, doesnt support you... but you love the company and the people around you - time to rage quit?

Maybe you can switch teams? Or talk to your boss? Hope it works out

Tried... they have no clue and doesn’t even pretend to care.

Ah that sucks man. Do your coworkers feel the same way? Is there any way you can report your boss as being a hindrance to your productivity?

Dematic Larry Cook Aug 19, 2019

No, find a better job. Negotiate the pay using your current offer and then quit without burning any bridges. Your boss is not the entire company. Chances are, there are other better teams within the company. Logically rage isn’t the solution to anything.

Sorry about making a facetious comment in the other thread xo

Will try this route.

Epic rage quit once. Would not recommend 6/10

Facebook XKUJ07 OP Aug 19, 2019

Really? What happened? Did you hire a band/drum line?

Accenture bitchute Aug 19, 2019

Incompetent manager, surrounded by equally incompetent yes men. I refused to "polish" a vulnerability scan and deliver it to a client as a penetration test. They insisted. I wouldn't bend. They tried to compel me through intimidation. Called manager out, called out his yes men, protected the client. Ended up getting hired directly by the client, and it felt cool but, seriously would not recommend. I was 26 at the time.

Been there recently. Ended up leaving.

Just another typical day here. I talked to my boss about this freeloader on my team. Guess what...my boss thinks I'm not inclusive.

I think it's a better idea to review internal openings and move to a different boss/dept.
