Satya just sent an email that no salary increase this year but stock rewards should be back to the normal average (not like last year) What do you think of that?

Inflation eating away salary 😭

It’s capitalism! The sooner people realize that better it is
At the same time being paid 226 M oh the outrage
That's Sundar Pichai at Google.

I thought y'all were killing it this year
I remember they beat all market expectations last quarter 😂
Yikes. More companies likely to follow id guess
Hah haven't started my coffee yet so I read Sundar instead of Satya and had a moment. Sorry to hear softies.
Shit show time
Personally I think its a good move for long term and will save headcount and reduce amount of people being laid off. I'm sure this will save a lot of budget for many orgs, which some orgs instead could try to manage out people to get to the same number in their budget. Logically it makes sense, I feel at least some orgs would be less impacted
^ cope. Microsoft already fired so many. And the company is not really doing too bad. Plus wasn't Satya excited about the AI opportunities?
