hi there :-) currently trying to get a feel for the market I am currently on my last round of interviews at microsoft and facebook. Facebook’s team seems more engaging and interesting. Most likely your TC will be similar or lower.
Try for level 6 at FB. Usually they may do it for ppl from FAANG who do well in the interviews When you say last round of interviews, did you mean the full day loop at FB?
About 400+ for L6 TPM. After that how hard you can push and what kind of competing offers u have

Interesting. I'm a L7 TPM at amazon which i think equals to L6 at google/FB. I make close $400k. I dont see a huge upside in TC. I guess WLB would be better.. but my impact may be much lower.
Thats good to know. Well Ideally I want it all... It's part of the equation, not necessarily more. I'd like to care about what I ship. I'm more interested in having an impact with my programs than shipping some minor infra improvements.
Vk0X07, Is L7 Sr.TPM at Amazon? is it Seattle or some where in CA? does it matter. I have virtual on site interview coming up for Sr. TPM role in Seattle. Couple of questions needing your help. 1. What level and total TC could be for Sr. TPM? 2. What could be expected at on site? coding? system design? what else.. TIA.

You will get a good overview of the interview pattern. TPM interviews in Facebook are technical and it also depends on the team you are interviewing for. Some on data side may even ask you to write scripts and optimize them, some ask you to write code while most of the teams do a system design interview.

Would recruiters tell you in advance what kind of interview it would be (ie if they will ask you to code or write scripts)? I’m coming from a non-swe background, pretty much no coding experience..but have been studying system design and feel okay about it now after going through the typical questions.. what do you think about my chances? Any tips?

I had a meh offer of $300k for an E5 TPM role at Fb last year. Base was solid, but RSU grant was underwhelming. I heard here on Blind that stock grant is about .5 of a SWE role.
