In your experience of interviewing for Senior/Staff/Distinguished engineer roles, how much of the interview is actually CS basics (sorting, dynamic programming) etc vs system design vs domain specific? i havent interviewed for the last 7 years, so im trying to figure out how different an interview for a senior role would be in comparison to an entry level engineer.
Senior is a different world from distinguished engineer. For senior and staff interviews the same coding bar applies as for new grads, but there are additional rounds around system design, leadership, etc depending on company.
