I’m currently a senior engineer in big tech wanting to move to venture capital . Before my current job, I’ve worked at startups in the past. TC: 400 YOE: 5 How do I get a job in venture capital without starting a company of my own

Be an angel. It’s the fastest and best way to build a portfolio and vet (and be vetted by) the firms you might join. You don’t even have to leave your job to do it (unless they stipulate against it). Souce: founder of a $25M regional VC firm
