Anyone from magic leap? how is the culture over there? what kind of questions asked over the phone interview?
Is magic leap basically the Theranos of the tech world?
This is my point - I’ve been following the company for around 5 years - I remember watching their commercial they showed investors - and their tech looked amazing - they haven’t released a product though - unless they are cooking up something incredible- I would be wary
We released the Creator Edition on August 8th, 2018. We got a lot of hate before the release, and apparently some people think we never did. While the bloggers were whining away, investors move forward after getting a preview of what's going on behind the scenes. That's repeating again with our future stuff. The interviews depend entirely on the department. Phone interview was my manager, a pretty bright guy with lots of good questions (real practical stuff, not leetcode style). The on-site interview was all day, met most of the team and was worn out at the end. This was Florida. We grew quickly, so there's a mix of amazing people mixed in with some so-so people who managed to scheme their way up the hierarchy early on.
thanks for the info. i m in bay area. the hr told me there will be 2 rounds of 1 hr google hangout interview. i m just wandering why needs 2x? did you get 2x? he mentioned coding skills so i guess leet code.
That sounds more like typical bay area hiring. It may be leetcode.
what's their onsite interview like
