Mapbox IPO
I am an entertaining negotiation for a software engineer role at Mapbox. Any insider info about timeline for options/RSU liquidity? Is it like a year, 5 years, never? No offer details as we are still in back and forth stage. Current TC: 210K + paper options which worth nothing

As an outsider I would guess never
“Never as a timeline” would be hard to explain to SoftBank which led series C. Hence I am curious if any insiders can share hints how hard is the pressure.
From the outside, my impression is that Softbank has thrown so much money at things without due diligence that I wouldn't give any weight to them leading a Series C.
