Doordash interview process

How does it look like for SWE? Difficulty of LC questions? Difficulty of sys design questions? This is for E4

System design question is on the easier side for E4. I’d put the LC questions at medium to hard depending on your interviewer and what they choose. I haven’t interviewed at Google, but I personally found DoorDash to be a harder interview than Meta fwiw

What is the experience range for E4?

Capital One plankie Feb 14

For system design do you have any advice?

Expect LC variation. Recruiter told me it med/hard . So yeah fuck. It should be running code.

Amazon urmm2 OP Feb 15

How many questions did they ask? 1 or 2?

Amazon coolguyy Feb 15

1 Q

Seems like they have a limited pool of LC questions they ask. I got an LC hard from the 6 months tagged pool.

Amazon coolguyy Feb 14

Same for me. Variation for hard problem.

Amazon urmm2 OP Feb 15

Ok so study last 6 months and I should be good?

First interview question was binary tree medium with no execution. Second was LC hard bfs graph traversal. Easier than Meta just because there are fewer questions IMO, but YMMV. Do all of the DoorDash tagged questions on LeetCode, and you'll be fine. Also watch the video on interviewing @ DoorDash. Get a working solution first, then describe how you'd optimize if you don't have time to implement it. Beware that they are lowballing offers now, though.
