I applied for a Product Manager role at TikTok but received an email from a recruiter asking to schedule a 45min interview for PMO (program manager officer) role. Is it common for tiktok to directly schedule interview without any initial call to discuss salary expectation or level? And what does a PMO role mean at TikTok, is it equivalent to Technical Program Manager at FAANG?
They have 50 recruiters and 10000 openings. I would bear with them
Same happened with me. Should be alright.
It may not last for 45 mins. It might be a default setting for a call.
It is always better to ask recruiter about the scope of that interview.
Are you currently a product manager or a program manager at Facebook?

Interview process starts with call with recruiter. Likely the first step?
