timeline for h1b transfer
submitted documents. lawyer sent mail they are preparing LCA. 1) how long does it take for them to prepare the H1B application to submit to USCIS? what sort of timelines did you guys have? 2) how long is the LCA process? The waiting is stressing me out. I want to give my notice ASAP. For the amount of BS my management has subjected me to, I want to give a week’s notice. is this doable? or do we have to give two weeks notice?

Congrats. 1 week LCA prep, 1 week LCA certified by USCIS. 1 week petition prepare and filed. 3-4 days later receipt. Another 3-4 days adjudication by USCIS.

They said petition prep is already in progress , didn’t say anything about a timeline yet . Did you ask them explicitly ?

You do not need to give notice at all. They can also fire you on the spot when they feel like.
