hearing through the grapevine. any thoughts which teams?
Impressed how company is still around given their huge losses..
The market doesn’t care about losses long as the stock price is going up. Once that ride ends, reality sets in.
Gaap or non-gaap loses ?
Both this is from last Q, they reporting next week I believe. GAAP loss from operations of $457.0 million for the third quarter of 2022, compared with GAAP loss from operations of $232.3 million for the third quarter of 2021. Non-GAAP loss from operations of $35.1 million for the third quarter of 2022 compared with non-GAAP income from operations of $8.2 million for the third quarter of 2021.
I think this is true..Overheard it as well
Are you currently working at Twilio?
yes
I used to work at Twiilio. Was laid off in September round. I did hear this rumor from former employees. Ugh sorry to hear this.
Hearing the rumors too. Heard that monday could be the day.
I will believe it when it actually hits our inbox. For weeks we have been sitting on the edge of our seats thinking, "I wonder which day it will be?" Honestly, I expected it to hit this past Wednesday, but now I am just over the anticipation. We can't stop it...all we can do is ride the wave and hope that we land on our feet.
Again? Which source pls
Sadly I think things are grim of Twilio they bleeding a ton of money, lot of these high growth companies with high losses are hoping Fed pivots soon and that just isn’t gonna happen
@CarFan, I don't think you have the full picture.
They did layoffs already a bit ago
Twilio company Blind is convinced we’ll have second round layoffs this week or next week. I’m just hoping it’ll happen so we can move on (I expect to be laid off). Morale is low.
Ugh I’m so sorry to hear that.
