are there any ux designers at kaiser or anthem out there that’d be willing to share their experiences (ugh, no pun intended!) at eithet place? i’d like to transition out of a career that had gone in a designing gor finance snd data direction and into something health related. really curious about the design cultures at #kaiser and #anthem
Pay really sucks though. Culture - a lot depends on the team you're in. Some are good, others - there is public crying. Design is usually done by external consultants. Converting to FTE is very hard
How much does a senior ux designer make? How are the career growth opportunities?
UX at Blue Shield is growing very fast if that’s another healthcare company you’re considering. Their team has literally exploded (in a good way) in less than a year. Recently hired a director of UX and have a fairly ambitious vision in place.
We've had a lot of growth in the ux areas at KP. If interested in working at KP. You'll be out of ncal (Pleasanton) or scal (Pasadena). Great benefits if you are able to convert to fte. The ux team has been constantly growing for a few years
That’s really promising! Thanks for letting me know! Do you know what the best route to apply is? All of the third party recruiters I’ve talked to seem so unprofessional that I’m hesitant to give them my information- I want to present myself as authentically and as well as possible.
