Career advice - Cerner/Oracle

Should I grind leetcode and SD and look for new opportunities or stay after oracle acquired cerner things might get better? given current market situation not sure what to do. It’s depressing to see other TC with less experience and more leetcode and SD knowledge , that they would probably never use on the job YOE: 8 TC - 100k Loc - Kansas WLB- Great

Wlb is something u might have to slightly give up on as most companies aren't great

I wouldn’t advise you to join the big d**k competition for highest TC, but if a company doesn’t care enough to keep you at the market rate, they probably are not valuing you enough. Now it’s your call if you drive your motivation from other things like wlb, learning, career growth etc.

Things will get better. Ask any doctor/nurse who have used Cerner at their hospital. It’s light years behind Epic and the acq was a good thing.

I left in 2019 and haven’t regretted it. Why not grind your leetcode and start applying? Doesn’t obligate you to take any offers you get
