What are good 2B1B or 2B2B apartments or rentable town homes in Cupertino/Sunnyvale/Mountain View/Los Altos and the general area? Budget $3500-$4000. I'm looking for - Good sound isolation (I play piano, have an electric, would like to get an acoustic) - EV charging on-site, private garage that has an outlet would be even better even if it is only 120V - Electric (not gas) stove - Modern cabinetry, granite countertops - Lots of sunlight - Patio or balcony - Hardwood floors at least in the living room. I hate carpet but I can deal with it in the bedroom I've seen a bunch for $4500 but I really don't need a pool, gym, clubhouse, and all those amenities, I just want a nice clean, modern living space without the community bells and whistles.

Modern all come with the bells and whistles. My current community close to Cupertino should be within your budget and meet all your criteria except it has all the bells and whistles and gas stoves (which i vastly prefer over electric)
Why would one prefer electric stove?
I vastly prefer induction over electric or gas and have my own induction range. As long as the apartment comes with a 240V40A plug I can put the property-supplied range in storage and use my self-purchased induction range, and swap it back when moving out. I already do this in my current apartment, I'll be taking my range with me. If the apartment comes with gas it likely won't have a 240V40A plug located where the range is. It's SO NICE to be able to boil water in 1-2 minutes :) And when sauteeing vegetables it's sizzling hot in less than 10 seconds. The degree of control is insanely good. Can't do that even with gas.
What brand of induction range do you recommend?
