I'm only familiar with Meta & Google level. L3 (Google) and IC3/E3 (Meta) maps to Bachelor's new grad/super junior engineer. L4/E4/IC4 maps to PhD new grad / junior engineer L5/E5/IC5 maps to senior L6/E6/IC6 maps to staff ..... on https://www.levels.fyi/companies/nvidia/salaries/software-engineer?country=254 it says IC3=senior. Is this actually senior? The TC data points (if accurate) map to L3 comp at meta. What is IC5 at Nvidia? That comp maps to roughly the same as Google/Faang's L5/IC5
E6 at NVDA is IC7 at Meta
In terms of titles IC3-IC5 are all senior. We don't use titles, though, so don't get hung up on it. Using a "title" is considered a bit uncouth here. FWIW the base for IC4 at Meta is lower than NVIDIA in my experience because I hired one. Their TC went up over 20% and that was pre stock boom. My IC4 (remote) was at 290k TC, IC5s (remote) are 330k TC. After the stock jump it's more like 380k/425k but you can't really count on that. Add 15% for bay area.

Thinking of choosing a name Aria for my baby boy.
oh wow. I knew nvidia paid less, but I didn't now they paid that much less. on levels fyi, it shows IC6=principal engineer. What is the equivalent of that at F/G?
