Silly article. What’s the objective?
The day buzzfeed achieves something will be an interesting day.
Humans shouldn’t be driving without AI assistance. Period.
Meh. that places an insane faith in the sensor’s ability to work more effectively than biology in all scenarios. This of course ignores the requirement for perfect software development processes, which we know are flawed. The processes are flawed, mostly because humans are flawed. Without perfect process, AI driving will always fail at scale. Perfect process is impossible.
I said AI assistance, not AI driving. Minimizes the chances of stupidity on both sides when both have control.
It seems this article is not only on Buzzfeed now, but also on Business Insider. Sometimes I wonder if it is time to get rid of Amazon stocks and not buy them anymore before it is not too late...
Nothing has changed, they can blame amazon but at the end everyone (including people who wrote this) want their packages in time and with free delivery.
My thought is similar. I can see parallels between Amazon and FB issues: one has issues in safety, another in privacy. Everybody scream about privacy violation and safety, but continue using FB and order on Amazon. However, FB has almost no competitor, while Amazon has a couple. If they figure out the speed and safety better than Amazon, it will be the end of Amazon.
^Devil’s advocate - there are few forces moving us to incrementally faster delivery services on $15 items other than the need to eliminate and undercut the competition.
