American Airlines ydntudkof May 26, 2020

Figured tableau would be busier not having to reduce for some reason?

Intuit Købe May 26, 2020

Why would they? Their doing just fine with Salesforce

General Dynamics BobTBuildr May 26, 2020

But doesn’t Salesforce have a hiring feeeze?

Intuit Købe May 26, 2020

Yes. That’s due to how operationally inefficient it is to onboard employees remote though, not because the company isn’t making money. Salesforce will be one of the few that’s hardly affected

You’re fine because you have long contracts with companies like us, that will outlive COVID. Tableau is very $$$ and market dominant Tableau/Salesforce/Alteryx etc.. all very safe right now

Why?

Visa zxcv7 May 27, 2020

I find Tableau doing quite well. Companies need data systems to keep up with the market trends.

Salesforce gba18 May 29, 2020

I'm working for Tableau, and since SF bought the company, no one is really afraid about a layoff, it's pretty safe. There is a lot contracts in place with big IT companies. Also it's a software company.. it's not like Groupon, Airbnb, Booking and all kind of services companies who are f..ing impacted by the Covid19.

So I should join Tableau?
