Which companies pay senior data science - analytics roles (no machine learning/modeling) for greater than 300k? Yoe: 8 Tc: 290k
Which companies have those roles? They are literally Sr Data Analysts right?
Most of “data science” roles in SF are data analyst/ product analyst roles in disguise
Yeah, product analytics/ metrics/experiment are the main responsibilities. Companies either name the role as product analyst or data scientist-analytics is my understanding.

Instacart, Lyft pay close to $0.5M TC for simple analytics roles. Tbh DS at Uber also do pretty simple stuff and pull $0.5M ish TC. Granted Uber s interview is the most technical of all of them.

do you have a stem MS/PhD? i assume you’re a manager? do you manage managers? hard to imagine IC roles paying that much for analytics roles. side note how much do you work / how stressed are you for that TC?
You can pull that figure as IC. It is not easy but it is possible. Managers also make similar comps, sometimes can be lower. As a manager, people coast and save their position by territory building.
Replying to chegg above - I’m an IC with a stem Master degree, but tbh I don’t think degree matters much for experienced hires. My colleagues at the same level as me get the similar pay regardless of what degree he/she has. In terms of work intensity, it is not the best, but ok - 40% of the time I work 8-10 hours to get work done, the rest 5-8 hours per day.
